Museum doors open with heritage passports. Niagara residents will get an opportunity to visit seven local heritage sites for free as part of Museum Month celebrations.
In recognition of International Museums Day, The City of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Parks Commission have partnered to offer a special "heritage passport. Doubleday Canada Limited
The passport can be used May 18-21 to gain admission to Lundy's Lane Historical Museum, Willoughby Historical Museum, Battle Ground Hotel Museum, Old Fort Erie, Mackenzie Heritage Printery and Newspaper Museum, Laura Secord Homestead and McFarland House. Organizers say a special gift will be given out to those who visit all seven sites during these dates and get their passport stamped by museum staff.
The passports can be obtained at the Lundy's Lane Historical Museum, which is located at 5810 Ferry Street, in Niagara Falls.
