The Great Wolf Lodgein Niagara Falls is scheduled to open in spring 2006. It will be part of a destination resort that will include Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. At 82,000 sq. ft., the indoor waterpark will be among the world’s largest. In addition to the water park, the Lodge will include over 400 all-suite accommodations, a huge Northern Lights Arcade with redemption games, and an Aveda Spa.

With school vacations extending beyond the first week of January, the Winter Festival of Lights has received numerous requests from potential visitors hoping to enjoy both the Festival and Niagara Falls during that time. As such, the Niagara Parks Winter Wonderland, the 5 km route along the Niagara Parkway that hosts nearly two million lights _Ì including almost 200,000 energy-conserving L.E.D.s _Ì and over 100 lighting displays featuring the world-famous Enchantment of Disney animated displays will be illuminated until January 9, 2006.
